Your health is important. Is your health a priority in your life? I hope your answer was "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I neglected my health until I was forced to pay attention... or die. This approach is not recommended. You can do better!
One way to start your journey to better health is actually pretty easy, you have to want to be healthier. Next, like on any journey, you need to take the first step. I love lists, so my suggestion is to create a list of steps you will take to achieve your goal of better health. Think about it, try to be as realistic as possible and make a list of 5 things you can do immediately to improve your health. Below is a sample list to help get you started.
10 Steps for Better Health:
- Count your blessings more than your challenges
- Focus on feeling grateful
- Say only positive things to and about YOU
- Spend at least 10 minutes outside in the sun daily
- Walk as much as possible
- Eat less sugar
- Drink more water
- Limit your caffeine
- Surround yourself with LOVE, JOY and PEACE
These 10 steps are an easy way to get started on your wellness path! Right?!
They don't cost anything. They aren't difficult. They're easy to remember. If these steps aren't where YOU want to start, then make your own list based of your own desires and your own goals. This is about YOU and YOU need to feel connected to your steps. Any positive change you make will help. Don't allow yourself to feel overwhelmed or discouraged.
